A little bit about me: My name is Jen and I am a 26 year old full-time HR careerist, part-time grad student, daughter, sister, friend, homeowner, dog mom, and part-time blogger! I reside in the veryyyy upper Midwest United States where the winters are long and cold but we don’t let that affect our attitudes up here. My mindset in life is focused on joy and relationships. I’m always seeking one or the other (or both) throughout my days and I hope to share that with all of you through this blog. I am a firm believer that you can never have enough color in your life – both in your wardrobe and in your home – so you will find lots of colorful content by following along with me.
This page is a collection of my weekly (sometimes more than weekly) thoughts on the world of décor, creativity, fashion, style, and all of the above. On any given week you’ll find me tackling DIY projects or crafts at my townhouse, going on traveling adventures to new places to try new food, standing and staring at my closet as I piece together new and exciting outfits, all while having a sing and dance party throughout both levels of my townhouse with the help of my Google home mini supplying the tunes. The results of these actions are what you find in my weekly posts and it’s always something a little bit different each week. Truly a “lifestyle” blog as I don’t focus only on one topic!
This all occurs under the watchful eyes of my dog & sidekick, Luna the goldendoodle. She often appears in photos and is an accomplice in all of my work. This platform has really become a fun and truly creative outlet for me as I exercise my love for writing and turn it in to a physical creation that I can share with others.
